Co-Founder and Chief Brand Builder
Solange is Co-Founder and Chief Brand Builder of Wonderhood. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and her Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University. After completing her MBA, Solange worked for the Colgate-Palmolive Company, managing products and innovation projects for iconic consumer brands such as Colgate Toothpaste, Palmolive Dish Soap and Irish Spring Soap. Solange was involved in every aspect of these businesses, including the development of new products, marketing plans, package design, sales, and manufacturing initiatives. As a brand manager, Solange developed, tested and gained approval for a new toothpaste concept estimated at $50 million.
Solange left Colgate-Palmolive when she had the first of her two daughters, and eventually started her own marketing consulting firm, SVS Consulting. Her work focused primarily on supporting women entrepreneurs and small-businesses in New York City. In that time, Solange has spent countless hours observing and playing with young children, including her own daughters, nieces, and friends. Her experience and passion as both a businesswoman and mother have led her to focus on Wonderhood.
